The company has not yet shared any information about the launch of Mahindra Thar Electric.But the company's new electric vehicle plant is expected to start in March 2024 next year.In this context, it can be expected that it can be launched by the end of next year or in the year 2025.At the moment it is a bit difficult to say anything about it.The company is going to launch the regular 5-door model of Mahindra Thar next year.

The company says that the new Mahindra Thar Electric will be built on the new INGLO P1 platform, which will provide the SUV with better ground clearance as well as best off-roading capability.Let us tell you that INGLO stands for IN- (India) and GLO (Global). The wheelbase of the Thar.e is expected to range from 2,775 mm to 2,975 mm to fit the extra doors and battery pack in the SUV.
According to reports, Mahindra will initially source its INGLO batteries and motors from China's Build Your Dream (BYD) for older models like the XUV.e8, but the Thar.e will likely use a more powerful electric motor sourced from Volkswagen. As per information, the Inglo platform generates power output of around 250 kW for all wheel drive.Well, no disclosure has been made about the driving range or power etc. of Thar Electric.
